and observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go and that the Lord may keep his promise to me: ‘If your descendants watch how they live, and if they walk faithfully before me with all their heart and soul, you will never fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’1 Kings 2:2-4 NIV
When we have confidence in God, we are free to ask whatever we need and He will do it. God promises us prosperity that comes through being obedient. An unforgiving heart is seen as being in rebellion to God’s command. The Lord is faithful to keep all His promises.
Am I saying we won’t encounter challenges when we have complete confidence in God? nope. However, God has promised to never leave us nor forsake. Even when your enemies and those you have forgiven violently rise up against you, be still and know that He is God.
Follow His commands and prosper.
Lord, I choose this day to serve You, and You alone. For there is no other God like You. In Jesus’ name Amen
