his daily bread

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:13‭-‬14 NIV

It’s been 84 days since the national lockdown was put into effect. What a time to be alive! I have learned new marketing skills. I have hosted two great  Saints on our show, Radiant conversations (Youtube). I have read a couple of books, and really enjoyed Saints. I learnt to be a teacher to Nako and Lehumo. I learnt to thoroughly take care of my afro, just to mention a few. I am the worship leader for family devotions. Yaaaay.

Anyway, Spiritually, we should be at a point where we are Christ-centered in all our dealings. We allow the Holy Spirit to be at the forefront. Christ says My sheep know my voice. We should know His voice, that’s the main voice we have listened to over the past 84 days. I encountered a few work-related issues, but the Holy Spirit was quick to reprimand me. Quick enough to say..hey you are Ms. Radiant Light, go back to Matthew 5:14-16.

Let us keep confessing and declaring the hope we have in our Lord God. The hope that He has promised to do new things in our lives. Let us take each day with the measure of grace that He has provided. When the Israelites were in the desert,God gave them enough Manna for each day. That is the same with us. Don’t complain about yesterday,  nor say tomorrow I will do this and that, because clearly God is the only one that knows our tomorrow. Our times are in His hands. Let hope and faith be the key driver of your life. Looking forth to Christ the Saviour of our lives.

let us pray

Lord, the prize that You have for us is far greater than what we go through each day. Therefore I will run this race with high hopes that You Lord will definitely reward me for my faith and hope in You. In the name of Jesus. Amen
