Wisdom and patience

A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.

Proverbs 19:11 NIV

This verse talks about wisdom and patience in the same line. Dear friend do you remember that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom? Now, once you have this wisdom, patience manifests easily. In all that you do, the Lord’s perfect stillness will help you not to be anxious nor be worried, because your patient spirit will be the driving force. This scripture continues to mention that it is to one’s glory to overlook offenses. We are building Radiant hearts that are not easily offended, so for you to be able to overlook offense this is a character trait that is very important. Learn to be patient, you will win in life.

And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised (Hebrews 6:15)

Be like Abraham so you may receive what God has promised you. Do not get weary in the process of waiting and miss out on your blessings.

today’s prayer

Lord I bless Your righteous name. Cultivate in my heart a fruit of patience. Thank You Holy Spirit for Your perfect guidance.  In Jesus name, Amen
